We have a fabulous preschooler program at our studio called READY SET DANCE and READY SET BALLET.
We are an official location for this program which is run in over 100 dance studios across Australia and New Zealand. This is a one hour combo class that includes jazz, tap, hip hop, singing, music and a whole lot of FUN for girls and boys.
As Hornsby Shire's leading dance school, Action Dance Academy is proud to announce the launch of 'Action takes Action', a foundation for fundraising in partnership with local charities.
Since the launch in August 2017 we have held two annual fundraising events for our students to get involved. A Disco Party for students in Kindy-Year 6 and a Movie Night for high school students.
What we have achieved so far:
2017 we partnered with Mission Australia and raised $1400 to support families with affordable housing, early learning and youth services, family support and skills development for those in need.
2018 we partnered with the Hornsby Kur-ring-gai Women's Shelter to raise $1800 for women in our local community suffering from homelessness and domestic violence.
2019 we partnered with the Kids With Cancer Foundation Australia and raised $3808 to help struggling families of kids being treated for childhood cancer.
