READY SET CONCERT
Saturday 6th December 2025

Ticket Information:

• Tickets will be released online on Saturday 1st November at 10:30am

• Tickets do tend to sell quickly so we recommend jumping online ASAP to snag the best seats

  Children are any child 3-17 years. If you would like your 0-2 year old to have their own seat you must purchase them a chid ticket, otherwise they can sit on your lap free of charge.
  
  Note: for families who have students dancing across multiple shows at Barker College, you will receive a discount code which will give you 10% off all bookings. This will be emailed prior to tickets going on sale.

Drop off and pick up procedure:

• Students should arrive dressed in their first costume as listed on the program tab above. Please note - No tights required with any costumes. If your child has other costumes please bring along in the labeled zip locked bag we provide.

• All students will be assigned a colour room and will be given a matching wrist band (given out the week before concert). On arrival please find your coloured group (marked with balloons). Teachers and helpers will meet and greet your little ones before moving them to their assigned coloured classroom.

• Each classroom will have staff assigned to stay with your child for the duration of the concert. We will also provide games, craft and movies to keep them entertained.

• At the end of the concert we ask ONLY 1 parent to come to your child’s classroom to collect them.

• Each child will be signed out by one of our staff members before they are allowed to leave the classroom.

Hair / Costume / Make-up:

• All students please have two high pigtails, slicked back with gel or hair spray (hair accessories will be provided on the day by Action Dance Staff)

• No tights are required for any costumes.

• Shoes - black jazz shoes for READY SET DANCE, pink ballet shoes for READY SET BALLET, bare feet for READY SET ACRO.

• Please label all shoes and costume items.

• Make up is not required but you are welcome to put on your child if you wish.

What to pack:

Please send your child with a small bag containing their belongings. Please make sure to label EVERYTHING as we will not take responsibility for unlabelled items that go missing. We provide activities so please do not bring any toys or special trinkets as they have a tendency to go missing. Some things you might like to pack are:

• Water bottle - no coloured drinks

• Change of costume and shoes if in multiple items

• It is not a requirement to pack food but if you feel you would like to please nothing too messy and absolutely NO NUTS.

Parking and Maps

Parking around the venue can be challenging, especially on this weekend, as the lifeline book fair is also taking place on the same day . To avoid the stress of finding a spot, we strongly recommend using public transport where possible. Barker College is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from both Hornsby and Waitara train stations.

If you do plan to drive, there will be two carparks open for guests, with entry via either Unwin Road or Clarke Road. Please note that parking is limited, so we encourage you to allow extra time to secure a space and walk to the venue if needed.
