• Tickets will be released online on Saturday 1st November at 10:30am

• Tickets do tend to sell quickly so we recommend jumping online ASAP to snag the best seats

• Ticket Pricing:
  Adult - $40
  Child - $35
  
  Children are any child 3-12 years. If you would like your 0-2 year old to have their own seat you must purchase them a child ticket, otherwise they can sit on your lap free of charge.
  
  Note: For families who have students dancing across multiple shows at Barker College, you will receive a discount code which will give you 10% off all bookings. This will be emailed prior to tickets going on sale

All dancers should arrive in costume, ready to perform.
If your dancer is performing in more than one item, please have them arrive in their first costume and pack any additional costumes in a clearly labelled garment bag. Your dancer will have a bag slip with all information of what to wear first in each of their costume bags.

Other Things to Pack

• Please make sure all belongings are clearly labelled.

• We’ll have a range of fun activities available to keep dancers entertained while they wait for their turn on stage.
  Please don’t send phones, electronic devices, or any valuables, as Action Dance Academy can’t take responsibility for lost or damaged items.

• It’s not necessary to send food, as we recommend feeding your dancer just before drop-off. However, if you’d like to pack a light snack, please:

  • Avoid messy foods or coloured drinks

  • Do not include anything containing nuts

Ensure your dancer wears a jacket or dressing gown over their costume when eating or drinking

Make up is optional for our pre schoolers.  We are all about children being children, it is not our aim to make them appear too grown up. The reason we suggest stage makeup is the lights on stage have a tendency to wash out little faces, especially in videos and photos which will be taken on the day. The choice of whether or not to wear make up and the amount is completely at each parents discretion.

• All students please have two high pigtails, slicked back with gel or hair spray (hair accessories will be provided on the day by Action Dance Staff)

• No tights are required for any costumes.

• Shoes - black jazz shoes for READY SET DANCE, pink ballet shoes for READY SET BALLET, bare feet for READY SET ACRO.

• Please label all shoes and costume items.

• Students should arrive dressed in their first costume as listed on the program tab above. If your child has other costumes please bring along on a hanger or bag. Make sure everything is labelled as we will not take responsibility for items that go missing.

• Parents should drop their child to the sign in table. Students will be lined up in their class groups and then escorted to their change rooms by our staff. NO PARENTS will be permitted in the change rooms or back stage.

• Each classroom will have staff assigned to stay with your child for the duration of the concert. We will also provide games, craft and movies to keep them entertained.

• At the end of the concert we ask ONLY 1 parent to come to return to the sign in area to collect your child.

We kindly ask that phones be put away during the performance so everyone can be fully present and enjoy the moment.

We have a professional videographer and photographer capturing all the action for you!
Every family will receive a complimentary digital download of the performance, which can be viewed and shared across all your devices.

You’ll also receive access to onstage and backstage photos. Please note that as these are live-action shots, we can’t guarantee that every individual dancer will be photographed. To ensure you get that perfect close-up, be sure to visit our Media Wall on arrival or before you leave — it’s the perfect spot for some fun costume photos!

Tag us in your social media posts so we can share in all the excitement and celebrate your dancer’s big day together.

Costumes will be handed out during your dancer’s classes this term.
Please take special care of your costume leading up to the performance — they’ve been custom-made and checked carefully before being distributed.

• Hang costumes neatly in a garment bag.

• Do not wear, wash, or iron costumes before the performance.

• Replacements are not available for lost or damaged costumes, so please keep them safe.

All costumes are yours to keep after the show! If washing is needed afterwards, we recommend spot cleaning or a gentle cold hand wash only. Please note that Action Dance Academy cannot take responsibility for any damage that occurs during washing.
