our uniforms are an important part of creating a focused, professional, and inclusive environment. Wearing a uniform helps students take pride in their appearance, promotes team spirit, and allows teachers to see alignment and movement clearly to provide the best technical guidance. Uniforms also ensure that all dancers are dressed safely and appropriately for their class style, helping them move freely and confidently as they train.

Our range of Action Dance Academy tops offers comfort, style, and versatility for every dancer. From classic tanks and crop tops to branded t-shirts and singlets, our tops are perfect for class. Designed for movement and made with high-quality, breathable fabrics, our tops help students feel confident and unified while showing off their studio pride.
SHORTS + PANTS
Our collection of Action Dance Academy shorts and pants is designed with both comfort and performance in mind. Whether it's fitted shorts for technique classes or relaxed pants for hip hop and warm-ups, we offer styles to suit every dancer's needs. Made from durable, flexible fabrics, our bottoms allow full range of movement while maintaining a polished, uniform look in class and on stage.
DRESSES + UNITARDS
From our adorable Petite Dancer Dress to our sleek all-ages unitard, we offer uniform options that support dancers at every stage of their journey. The Petite Dress is perfect for our youngest dancers, combining comfort and charm to help them feel confident and free to move. For older students, our new Action unitard provides a streamlined, versatile option ideal for styles like acro, contemporary, and technique classes.
FOR THE BOYS
Our boys’ uniform is designed to keep things simple, with a comfortable, and class-ready Action Dance Academy t-shirt. Paired with an Action puffer or hoodie for the colder months, this streamlined uniform ensures ease of movement while maintaining a polished and consistent look across all levels and age groups.

We do have a uniform for class that we're sure your child will love. However, we do understand that while your little one is trialling and settles in you may take some time to purchase your gear.
Jazz shoes are required for READY SET DANCE classes - Tap shoes are also encouraged
Ballet shoes are required for READY SET BALLET classes
READY SET ACRO is bare feet only.
UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
SHOES
Jazz, Technique, Musical Theatre: Black jazz shoes, slip on (no laces)
Ballet: Pink canvas ballet shoes (with elastics)
Acro & Contemporary: Bare feet
Lyrical: Bare feet or canvas half soles (optional)
Hip Hop: Any sneakers, mainly white in colour
BALLET UNIFORM
Petites & Primary - Pink Leotard, pink skirt, ballet tights & canvas ballet shoes
Grade 1 - 5 & Vocational - Black leotard (your own choice of style), pink ballet tights & ballet shoes.
BALLET SHOES
Pink canvas ballet shoes (with elastics for Primary to Grade 5).
Major grades require pointe shoes after seeing a physiotherapist for a pointe assessment. Your ballet teacher will advise students when you are ready for pointe shoes.
BALLET HAIR
Ballet students are to wear their hair in a ballet bun, with a hair net, bun pins & no wispy bits near the face!
