TROUPE

Troupe classes are our representative teams for students who are ready to move beyond a recreational level. Our Troupe program is purposefully designed so that students receive well rounded technique and training of the highest quality. Students learn award winning routines and represent Action Dance at Eisteddfod competitions throughout the year. Troupe sets up dancers to move into the professional Performing Arts Industry and our culture has been established in a supportive and nurturing environment for all dancers to succeed and reach their full potential.

THORNLEIGH TROUPES

Jazz | Ballet | Hip Hop | Lyrical | Contemporary | Musical Theatre

Students are grouped into gem stones and split by DOB (age @1st Jan 2024).

OPAL (compete in 6yrs/under section)
TOPAZ (compete in 8yrs/under section)
RUBY (compete in 10yrs/under section)
SAPPHIRE (compete in 12yrs/under section)
EMERALD (compete in 14yrs/under section)
DIAMOND (compete in 16/yrs and Open age sections)

BEROWRA TROUPES

Students are grouped by DOB and will dance in ‘age average’ sections, dependant on eisteddfod rules.

RED Jazz Troupe (compete in 10yrs/under section)
BLACK Jazz Troupe (compete in 12/U section)
GOLD Hip Hop Troupe (compete in 10/U or 12/U section)
PLATINUM Hip Hop Troupe (compete in 14/U section)
Musical Theatre Troupe (compete 14/U section)
